Part of an ongoing exploration of textile, identity and transformation, Becoming was photographed in Seoul in 2025. The hanbok — with its layers, structure and delicate ornamentation — becomes more than dress: a presence in its own right.

Removed from the body, the garment seems to hover between absence and presence, tradition and transformation.

Becoming is part of the Hanbok series, presented at Hungry Eye Fair Amsterdam 2026.
